My Radio Interview with Peter km

There are many ways to support Peter and his challenge.

  • Relay r information by inviting his friends about the band's crazy walker Facebook
  • Tell a friend living near one of the steps of Peter
  • He opened the door of his house for an evening course
  • But also accompany him on his road a few kilometers

Pending return of Francis David, who had accompanied his brother on two days, and seems more aid before the cameras in front of TF1 that his keyboard ... here is the story of the last accompanist to date, the Tough Audrey Lyon :

Initially the story is not very glorious. I suggested during a drunken night, that I would follow Peter on one of these steps while the latter was snoring on the sofa - to 23 hectares unless it's "three Gauls" I do not know, these four days were a bit mixed ...

short, to my surprise, Peter had heard the news and announced it on Facebook but said I would do "if the weather was clement" ... Once dessaoulée, I learn that my own words were well out of my mouth, and on the eve of departure I was watching the weather a bit anxious while secretly hoping a storm on the banks of the Rhone - which was very likely at this time. I fell asleep so relieved while adjusting my alarm at 7am because I have one word, even alcohol.

the morning of D-Day, my first move was to open the curtains with confidence ... I discovered then FourviereBasilica haloed by a beautiful blue sky free of clouds. My first instinct was to call my buddy while Arnaud, who was also the impetus in my ad had complied chief and signed a contract with a wink and a hearty laugh. Unfortunately, his back does not allow him to walk long distances and visit you at the bottom of my door, I decided - with courage - to keep up Quincieux Pierre.

The first 5 km were prolix, I talked a lot. Everything and nothing, Pierre gracing the conversation of those famous smiles (they are famous for you soon when you have met him) and listening to my chatter and jokes politely - fruit of 10 years working with Mr. Manin. Beard came to the island, I had no story à raconter pour m'empêcher de penser aux muscles et à ma carcasse qui me supportent depuis 28 ans et demi.

Good road stone)

The financial issue of this project is sometimes raised, paradoxically it seems interesting and I will try to respond better to dismiss it.

Just as the famous "The Pope? How divisive?" Stalin pointed out the lifeblood of diplomacy, military power, it is likely that the key to travel is money and ask "Walker crazy facebook, what budget ?"...

Well, Peter Cardonnel left side of his job in the medieval animation company of his brother Francis Davidet. he decided to take the road without a credit card, with just a small sum of money, ridiculous for a possible landing blow.

These six months will be quite bohemian, for Pierre, a sharp break with the consumer society. So
an original project budget, but also because without a concern for his family ( a thought for her mom ).
Personally, more than 30 km daily walk, and the 5000 km Paris dared on the hospitality of the French network facebook, that's what I find most radical in its approach.
Some say that Peter is going to experience in the seed falling into the Guinness comme le français le plus radin en 2009.

Back Pain From Fall...

The first 100 kilometers

story Romain

When my friend Peter told me about his project, he has passed much time so I find myself with him for three days and two nights at any beginning of his adventure.
This project is a little girl that the legendary Forrest Gump would have been with the show would go J dormir .
The birth takes place in Provence, a winter night, the head of my colleague, I found myself actually his godfather.
I 'did not hesitate to help this venture to make those first steps.

Here is the story

D Aix at Salon.

And in the hour of departure, we don 'were still unsure of our drop-off points for the beginning. But the sun
we smile, we're off to Aix en Provence, a Friday 13 ... it can not be invented ... careless or unconscious.
Obviously, after some thirty miles, you start to feel the lack of training pathological urban sedentary modern we are.

But hard lessons of the method we fought valiantly against Coué pain to finally find ourselves, after dark night, lost in the desert outskirts of Living in Provence, but failed to join the brave who had proposed, without us knowing, to host the two bearded men we were. While we
bitterness to spend the night of Friday 13, fasting, in a makeshift camp on the outskirts of a hydroelectric facility, Aurelie managed to join us and bring us back home. That Providence
be thanked. We then found ourselves right in the banquet of Bacchus or the occasion of the birthday of our host, a joyful meeting amused.
We did not hesitate long to get involved in this festival with enthusiasm.

Only the next day when taking an aspirin for breakfast and suddenly remembering our projects mileage for the day that I came to this maxim
drink or walk, we must choose!

From Salon in Cavaillon

For the second day together, we started up by the national head north for us to be challenged by a sinister individual from his car parked on the side.
_You guys looking for a job?

Well, we lied about the crisis? But what the job was it black? We do will know it. At least we can assure that with our quickdraw column Bosnian militia routed, there was nothing reproved by morality.

We could then follow the Canal de Provence in peace. the pain was already under great and we were able ons in parallel form these wandering thoughts which form what is called the inner journey ... Up
not what the highway from the sun, the TGV and the Durance, and we tend to gang up a fierce blocker and trap us in making us a few miles from our destination to turn back when the night promised.
order not to miss our rendezvous and having camped in this difficult environment, I managed to lay the diplomatic achievement Pierre in a long, dark and narrow passage under the railway from the TGV. That past, we managed to win the wild but accessible bank of the Durance bridge taking us in Cavaillon.
At the end of our path, the Way family took care of us and welcome us back on their feet the next day.

I fell asleep thinking that we should not worry so much since

any travel destination has necessarily

Goodbye Avignon

few more steps, lighter, with the drive and found ourselves in sight of the castle of the popes. We accelerate the pace for the locally famous psychiatric hospital Montfavet.
Because many believe, simply, that this project is crazy and we did not suffer the fate that is reserved for fools.

It is nevertheless reassuring about the chances of my friend is looking to carry out as I was leaving the station platform at Avignon.
Because I never doubted his control but only the feasibility of this idea.
That every day he walks
and every day he finds his way after someone to open the door of his house.

That is what we had done and what he will continue to make for even 146 days and 4900 kilometers.

Asylum purity. Difficult to set the record straight on this show as he challenged - and as he always does in its second week of performances - its share of almost a certainty. First labor, painful in every sense of the term: a summary attempts and wandering accumulated in six short weeks of this winter. Going back and forth between histrionics and total commitment that left me speechless on many occasions. Hard to achieve a form of absolute when constantly wallows in the burlesque of a comment almost sadistic against bad taste. Fortunately, Martin Faucher, our director knew about it and it was in its third incarnation of the show. The idea was to trust him from beginning to end. But stage fright seized me a few hours of general entertainment and we can say that is just starting to dissipate. We have embarked on this quest for the absolute and it was a moment of true happiness.
